TR7 Skatepark's Big Leap Forward with Cornwall Council's Support!

Martina and Chaz here, buzzing with some groundbreaking news for our community! After much anticipation and tireless efforts, we are ecstatic to share that TR7 Indoor Skatepark has secured the backing needed from Cornwall Council's Community Levelling Up Programme*. This significant milestone means we're gearing up to start construction on our NEW SKATEPARK NEXT MONTH!!!

This new venture is all about moving forward, stepping up our game, and creating a space that reflects our community's spirit and passion for skateboarding. Thanks to the unwavering support from Cornwall Council, we're not just making a comeback; we're setting the stage for an unparalleled skateboarding experience in Cornwall.

Our vision for the new TR7 Skatepark is clear - a place where creativity, skill, and community come together. A place for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned skaters, to enjoy and embrace the skateboarding culture, regardless of the weather or time of year.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we're filled with gratitude for the opportunity to bring this dream to life. And while we're focused on the build, we also know the strength of our community plays a huge part in what makes TR7 special.

If you've been reading this and thinking about how you might want to get involved, we're welcoming volunteers to join us on this adventure. There's a spot for everyone in the TR7 family, whether you're handy with tools/painting, have a knack for organising, or simply want to support the cause. Feel free to reach out at tr7skatepark@gmail.com if you're interested.

We're on the brink of creating something truly special for skateboarding in Cornwall, and we can't wait to share this journey with you. Stay tuned for more updates, and here's to the bright future of TR7 Skatepark!

Catch you soon, Martina & Chaz.
