1,000 Signatures and Growing: Skateboarding for GCSE PE

We’re incredibly grateful to share that the Skateboarding for GCSE PE – England campaign has now reached 1,000 signatures in a short space of time.

Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition, shared the campaign, and helped spread the word. It’s been amazing to see support from across the skateboarding community, including skateparks, skate schools and individuals who believe skateboarding deserves to be considered within GCSE Physical Education.

Across England, there are already skate clubs and skate sessions happening within schools, showing how relevant this discussion is for young people today. Skateboarding is already part of school communities, even if it is not currently recognised as an option within GCSE PE.

Reaching 1,000 signatures is an important milestone, but this is only the beginning. The next step is to keep building momentum and continuing the conversation around recognising skateboarding as a potential GCSE PE option.

Thank you again to everyone supporting the campaign so far.
